Christopher Mallavarapu, MD, FACC, SCAI is a board-certified cardiologist and interventional cardiology specialist with more than three decades of clinical experience. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Mallavarapu currently serves patients across multiple hospital affiliations in Olean, Buffalo, and Northern Maine.

Dr. Mallavarapu’s approach to cardiology is grounded in diagnostic precision and individualized care. He evaluates each patient across multiple dimensions, including circulation, heart rhythm, structural function, and systemic risk factors.

His clinical work spans the full spectrum of cardiovascular care, from routine diagnostic evaluations to complex interventional procedures. Over 35 years of practice, Christopher Mallavarapu has built a reputation as a trusted cardiologist who prioritizes long-term patient relationships and thorough, evidence-based decision-making at every stage of care.

Christopher Mallavarapu completed three fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Clinical Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology. That depth of training has informed both his clinical practice and his contributions to cardiovascular research. 

He has served as a PRICE trial investigator and has published in the American Heart Journal and Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, with research covering coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, and left ventricular remodeling.
